Warangal: Accusing Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao of suppressing the ideologies of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, TD leader Mothukupalli Narsimhulu alleged that Mr Rao is treating the Dalits as untouchables.

He was here to campaign for the BJP-TD candidate P. Devaiah for the byelection on Sunday. He said that Mr Rao’s view of the lower castes is quite clear by the way he treats them. He questioned why Mr Rao did not give place to at least one Dalit in his Cabinet even though they were in the forefront during the Telangana struggle. “There is no place even for women in KCR’s Cabinet. This alone proves that KCR is anti-Dalit and anti-women. While the SCs, STs and BCs sacrificed their lives for the cause of Telangana, the power is being enjoyed by KCR and his family members. The unemployed youth still await jobs and farmers await help,” he said.
