Tamannaah, who had a rough patch with back-to-back duds in B’town, and a flop each in Tamil and Telugu, heaved a sigh of relief after the humongous success of Baahubali. Seems like everything is falling into place for the actress who currently has two big-ticket flicks (a Telugu film, and a bilingual film). She has been approached for a film opposite Jiiva for the first time in her career. Titled Gemini Ganesan, the film is to be directed by Muthu kumar and will be produced by PT Selvakumar, who was one of the producers of Vijay’s Puli.

A source close to the actress says, “The makers are in talks to rope in Tamannaah to play the female lead. They are discussing the story with her and she is checking the availability of dates.”

Jiiva, on the other hand, has Ramnath’s Thirunaal and Ramprakash Rayappa’s Pokkiri Raja in his kitty. According to a source, the shooting of Gemini Ganesan will commence next year.
