Lankan Tamil woman refugee detained

Rameswaram: A 57-year-old Tamil woman refugee from Sri Lanka was on Monday detained near Dhanushkodi Arichalmunai near here on Monday by the Coastal security police, hours after she clandestinely reached the shores here without valid travel documents.

Mary Margaret, wife of one Kingsley of Trincomalee was found walking aimlessly close to the seashore after agents in a clandestine boat from Northern Sri Lanka purportedly dropped her in the wee hours, sources said.
