Techie killed in road accident at Ghatkesar

Hyderabad: An Infosys software engineer riding a two-wheeler died in an accident as he fell down and was hit by the company’s staff bus at Ghatkesar area on Friday morning.

The mishap occurred a few metres away from the Infosys campus at Pocharam village. Police said S. Suresh, 36, was on his way to office. A resident of Malakpet, he started off for office from home in the morning. As he was approaching the campus, Suresh applied sudden brake at a speed-breaker, and lost control of the bike.

“The bike fell down. The driver of the staff bus that was behind him, tried to avert hitting Suresh, but lost control and ran over Suresh,” Ghatkesar SI Lingaiah said. Suresh suffered severe head injury and died on the spot. A case has been registered.
