Anushka is a mix of Kamal and Vikram: Arya

Arya, who is teaming up with Anushka once again for Inji Iduppazhagi, was in an upbeat mood praising his co-star at the movie’s promo. Speaking on the occasion, Arya said, “Anushka has gained 20 kilos for this film. I know she did lot of homework. Despite putting on so much weight for her role, she still worked hard under such difficult conditions. She has put in phenomenal effort. I would say her versatility is a mix of Kamal Haasan’s and Vikram’s.”

 

Anushka on her part, said, “Not as an actress, but as a normal person, the script connected well with me. With the advent of media, photoshop and lot of movies, today’s girls are insecure and have a complex whether they look slim or fat, etc. The character I play in the film is someone who is confident about the way she is. As Sweety, a normal person, I could relate to the story because I am like that. Later on, the part of Anushka comes in. There’s a good message in it.”

 

She added, “Arya is one person who gives space for his co-actors. He gives unconditional support to the script and always work towards its benefit.” Prakash Rao directs the movie.
