After securing a position as one of the top three finalists of Bigg Boss in its last season, RJ Pritam Singh is now seen trying his hand at comedy on Comedy Nights Bachao.

“The show was an offer to work with stand-up artists who have done good work and made a mark. Plus it’s a prime time show, so that worked for me as well. I do the best I can,” he said.

What does he have to say about colleagues on the sets? “Bharti, Karan and I are partners in crime. What we rehearse behind the scenes totally changes once we’re on stage. It’s impromptu. However we work together right from the scripting level. Bharti being the experienced one takes the lead.”

Pritam has a word of advice for those entering the Bigg Boss house in its ninth season. “The only formula for survival is to be yourself and be straightforward. Nobody there is responsible for your journey. After they see you on the show, people shouldn’t say that they don’t want to work with such a person. Salman Khan is like an angel, they should follow his advice.”

About future plans Pritam says, “I don’t want to do something like Bigg Boss again, once was enough. I’m looking at myself as an anchor now. I was in talks for a television show, but the timing was not right and the idea got dropped at the last moment. I’m now in talks for films and would like to explore mini series on the small screen as well.”
