Gunasekhar becomes emotional

The success meet of Rudhramadevi on Wednesday was an emotional affair. Prakash Raj gave a lengthy speech, praising everyone who supported the film.

A teary-eyed Gunasekhar said that he had been inspired by the story since he was in class eight. He added that it was mid summer and it was not easy for Anushka to wear heavy outfits.

“But she didn’t even go to the vanity van and completed her shooting from morning to evening,” he says, applauding Anushka’s dedication.

Allu Arjun, meanwhile, said that he was happy to be the first person to play Gona Gannareddy. Till Tuesday, the Telugu version of the film had collected nearly Rs 40 crore and its success run still continues.
