ALAPPUZHA: SNDP Yogam general  secretary Vellapally Natesan  has said  none should try to wrap Sree Narayana Guru in  silk or saffron  and that he can be taken  forward covering him with a yellow garb.

He was speaking at a  function organized by Sree Nararayana Vaidika Samithi, a subsidiary of the Yogam at Cherthala on Sunday. “The Yogam has  neither loyalty nor disloyalty to any political party.

All allegations raised by various persons  should be compiled  and probed by the CBI or any other top  investigation agency to prove the “purity in the test of fire,”  he demanded.

He denied any backtracking from the decision to float  a  new political party and said  there was no opposition from anywhere to it.  “People like  Kanthapuram (Kanthapuram A. P. Aboobacker Musliyar) and Thrissur Bishop are floating political parties,” he said.

“We visited  PM Modi to get justice for Ezhavas. We  discussed the concerns of the homeless and women. It was not a visit for selling the Yogam  wholesale or retail,” he added.
