Exclusive: Is Sanjay Bhansali launching Ankita Lokhande?

Mumbai: There is strong buzz about Ankita Lokhande being signed for a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali that will go on floors next year. Not too long ago there were reports about her doing an item number in SLB’s magnum opus 'Bajirao Mastani'.
A source in the know of the developments told us that it’s still under consideration, and that nothing has been decided yet. “Ankita and her boyfriend Sushant (Singh Rajput) keep meeting Bhansali. In fact, Bhansali had even come for Sushant’s surprise birthday party, that Ankita had thrown. Earlier she was to make her debut in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year but that didn’t work out. So now Bhansali productions will be launching her.”
The source continued, “Ankita was to do an item number in Bajirao Mastani but there have been some changes in the plan. Nothing is confirmed as of now. Also, the makers are trying to keep it under wraps, but Ankita is in talks with the production house for a film as well.”
