Mumbai:  The country's who's who from various fields got together for football to kick off the second season of Indian Super League (ISL) with a brief opening ceremony on Saturday. ISL season 2 kicked off yesterday as defending champions Athletico de Kolkata started off the campaign on a winning note, beating Chennaiyin FC 3-2. The 45-minute programme was attended by The Bachchans- Amitabh, Shweta, Abhishek, Aishwarya. Also present were Sachin Tendulkar, Rajinikanth, A.R. Rahman, Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor. It was a starry affair at Indian Super League in Chennai.

Due to prior commitments, the stars kept their trip short and returned the same evening. Amitabh was spotted with his daughter Shweta at the Mumbai airport. The adorable father took to the wheel with Shweta by his side. Arjun and Alia were seen interacting for a few minutes and exchanging warm hugs before heading to their respective cars.

At the ISL opening, Alia gyrated to some of her hits from movies like 'Student of the Year', besides performing to the ISL theme song 'Let's Football'. Soon Arjun joined for a brief performance and swayed to 'Radha' and 'Disco Deewane'. Aishwarya, with her husband Abhishek and father-in-law Amitabh watching from the VIP section, came and danced gracefully, with a Tamil number, particularly, cranking up the decibel level.

Earlier in the day, 'Singh is Bliing' actress, Amy Jackson was clicked at the Mumbai airport. After doing her rounds at local multiplexes with director Prabhudeva, the actress headed to Dubai.

The action-comedy that also stars Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta reportedly opened up with a good first day collection at the box office. A few reports even stated that the film ran house full in certain parts of the country and also in the Middle East and Canada. Trade analysts are of the opinion that 'Singh is Bliing' might just be one of the biggest openers for Akshay Kumar.

Kapil Sharma who is soaring high with the success of his debut film 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' was all smiles for the paparazzi gathered at the Mumbai airport. The actor opted for comfortable clothes- grey t-shirt teamed up with tattered jeans, for his flight.
