Jobs to Srisailam oustees shortly

The minister directed officials to send proposals to fill 206 posts

Hyderabad: The Telangana State government has expedited the process of providing jobs for oustees of the Srisailam project. The jobs will be provided at Jurala, Rajolibanda and other irrigation projects in Mahbubnagar district.
 
The families affected by the project have been agitating for over three decades for jobs. Industries minister Jupally Krishna Rao held a meeting on Saturday with officials to discuss the issue.
 
The minister directed officials to send proposals to fill 206 posts and 48 helper posts vacant in Jurala and Rajolibanda irrigation projects. He also asked officials to send proposals to fill vacant posts of helpers in Kalwakurty, Nettempadu, Bheema projects. He directed officials to send these proposals to government within two days and seek approval so that the oustees will be provided jobs at the earliest.
