Rain knocks out tree at Niloufer Hospital

Heavy rainfall is expected for the next four-five days in the city

Hyderabad: Heavy rainfall and gusty winds lashed Hyderabad on Friday evening.
 
The wind knocked down a huge tree at Niloufer Hospital, however, no serious injuries reported. Heavy rains were reported at Uppal, Malakpet, Malkajgiri, L.B Nagar, Marredpally, Secunderabad, Begumpet and other areas. Incidents of trees falling were reported at the Secretariat, Nampally, Kachiguda and Basheerbagh.
 
Heavy rainfall is expected for the next four-five days in the city. 
 
At the road under-bridge at Malakpet, commuters were stuck in knee-high water. Traffic came to a halt at major junctions.
