Watch: Artist tears down stereotypes about women using paint

Fed up of unwanted labels and stereotypes about women, YouTuber and make-up artist Jordan Hanz, has come up with a powerful video to protest against our patriarchy-driven society.

The stop motion video shows Jordan painting herself with different standards and stereotypes that women are often branded with in their daily life. She touches upon several important issues like self-esteem, body image, set notions about femininity and sexual assault in the clip.

Towards the end of the video Jordan ends with an empowering note to women to stand up for their rights and be brave enough to define their womanhood themselves.
