Aamir Khan pays a visit to Golden Temple

'PK' star stops by Golden Temple before starting with film's shooting

Mumbai: Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, who just recently started shooting for his much awaited film 'Dangal', reached Amritsar a day in advance to visit the iconic Golden Temple. On Sunday morning, Aamir paid a visit to the temple.

The team of 'Dangal' will be shooting film's good chunk in the vicinity. The film's first scheduled shoot is said to go on for more than two months. Reportedly, the first scheduled shoot of Aamir Khan’s 'Dangal' will take place in a village in Ludhiana district in Punjab, Kila Raipur. Kila Raipur is popular as it hosts the annual Kila Raipur Sports Festival, which is commonly known as Rural Olympics.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, 'Dangal' is a biopic on legendary wrestler Mahavir Phogat, the father of Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. 'Dangal' also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Rajkumar Rao and Gautam Gulati. The film is said to release by the end of 2016.
