K Chandrasekhar Rao goes to Suzhou park

The CM invited him to visit Telangana to which he responded positively

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his team visited the famed Suzhou Industrial Park located in Suzhou in China on Friday.
 
Winding up his stay in Shanghai, the CM reached the Chinese capital Beijing and attended a dinner hosted for the Telangana state delegation by Indian ambassador Ashok K. Kantha.
 
Before leaving Shanghai, Mr Rao met Yogesh Wagh, director of Anju Infrastructure, a leading company.
 
He explained the Telangana State industrial policy to Mr Wagh, who evinced keen interest and expressed his preparedness to invest in Telangana.
 
The CM invited him to visit Telangana to which he responded positively. Mr Rao and his team visited Suzhou Industrial Park and interacted with Mr Yu Cai Zen, member of China’s Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Committee.
 
Mr Yu briefed him about the origin and development of the park and informed the delegation that seven lakh employees were working in the park.
 
Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Jagdish Reddy, Mahbubnagar TRS MLA Srinivas Goud, GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar and other members of the delegation appreciated the park.
 
Suzhou Industrial Park is an important economic cooperation project between the Chinese and Singapore governments and covers 288 sq km of which 80 sq km belongs to the China-Singapore Cooperative Zone. It is a pilot zone of reform and a successful model of international cooperation.
