Madhurima Tuli who was last seen as Akshay Kumar’s wife in the film Baby, is back on the small screen with Dafa 420, where she replaces Yuvika Chaudhary as the lead. She will be seen playing a cop as well. Not just that, she is also part of Farhan Akhtar’s show, I Can Do That.

Speaking about Dafa 420 she says, “When I was approached for the show, I was a bit taken aback about why Yuvika was quitting the show so soon. Then I got to know that her character will be shown as getting married and I will take over from there. It’s different from a saas-bahu role, so I took it up immediately. I have taken inspiration from actors Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar for the role and captured the nuances of how cops behave, from their onscreen portrayal.”

About being part of I Can Do That she adds, “We will be made to perform different stunts and it will be a good change for the audience. Farhan is my idol, so that's another reason I’m on the show.”

The actress had quit Kumkum Bhagya to be part of Baby. Does she ever regret her decision of leaving television to pursue dreams of the big screen? “For now, my movie plans are on hold till I get something good. Even after I quit Kumkum Bhagya I’ve been in touch with Ekta (Kapoor). I do miss my role in that show, but if Ekta calls me, I would love to go back to that character,” tells us.
