Two die from electrocution in Ganjikunta

Anantpur: Two persons were electrocuted in Shankarapuram in Ganjikunta colony in Kadapa after a live electric wire fell in the water-logged road due to strom on Monday morning.

The deceased, identified as C. Venkata Lakshmamma, 45 had left home to purchase milk when she came in contact with the wire. A passerby, Sri Hari, 47, rushed to her rescue. However, he too suffered electric shock and died. People alerted AP Transco officials and current was disconnected.
