Chennai: The Tamil Film Producers’ Council’s decision to not release any Tamil films from September 4 is arbitrary, wrong and unethical, according to some producers whose films are due to be released this weekend.
 
TFPC on Wednesday, announced that no Tamil films will be released from September 4, citing the problem of strike by Chengalpattu area theatre owners led by Paneerselvam who reportedly issued red card to Vendhar Movies’ Paayum Puli.

Film Pokkiri Mannan’s producer Thanigaivel also asserted that he would ahead with the film’s release as scheduled on September 4.
