Asif Ali to play Biju Menon’s son
A prominent South Indian actress is expected to play the female lead in the movie
Though Biju Menon and Asif Ali have shared screen space before through movies like Ordinary and Pakida, the two will be appearing in a never before seen combination in their next movie together.
Biju Menon and Asif Ali will be seen portraying a father-son relationship in the upcoming movie to be directed by Rahman, brother of Shyju Khalid says reports.
A prominent South Indian actress is expected to play the female lead in the movie. The story is by Naveen Bhaskar. The movie, which will be an out-and-out comedy flick, will be produced by August Cinemas.
Though August Cinemas (owned by Prithviraj, Aarya, Shaji Nadeshan and Santosh Sivan) usually only produces movies in which Prithviraj plays a lead role, they had previously produced Kadal Kadanu Oru Maathukutti. This would be the second such movie produced by the banner.
