Dhyan Chand's son to meet Karan Johar to discuss biopic
The meeting will most likely take place on August 29th
Mumbai: Karan Johar made an announcement this week that left everyone shocked. The director-producer revealed that Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt will be starring in his next co-production.
But nothing has been said about the biopic he was planning to make on the life of hockey legend Dhyan Chand. Last year in October, Karan revealed that he would be collaborating with Pooja and Aarti Sherrty for the biopic.
According to media reports Ashok Kumar, the son of Dhyan Chan will soon meet Karan to discuss the upcoming biopic. Karan had reportedly approached Kumar about three years ago with the idea. The film is still in its scripting stages.
Kumar has reportedly decided to meet Karan on August 29th which happens to be his late father’s birthday, and is celebrated as national Sports Day. After the script is complete, the cast of the film will be decided.
