Conspiracy theories: What ‘actually’ happened in Tianjing? The internet has the answer!
Here are some of the the bizarre and non-rationale 'truths' that are doing the rounds
London: While the Chinese government has clarified that the deadly blasts in Tianjin that claimed 114 lives, and left 700 injured was due to explosions at a warehouse that stored hazardous chemicals, online portals and discussion forums are rife with their own versions of what 'actually' happened.
From a US extra-terrestrial bomb, to an assassination attempt on the Chinese President that went amiss, the conspiracy theories on the accident has no limits, with some even comparing it to 9/11, reported the Daily Mail.
Here are some of the the bizarre and non-rationale 'truths' that are doing the rounds:
US extra terrestrial bomb
An American news website, Natural News, which claims to be the America's truth bureau has said that the explosions were nothing but a results of Pentagon's 'Kinetic retaliation' in response to the devaluation of the Yuan. The website further claims that the two countries were already at war and that an aggressive police state tactics was now being invoked to control the flow of information surrounding this event.
Super computer
Meanwhile, the announcements by the Chinese authorities that they have shut down the super computer Tianhe-1A (even though there was no damage to the computer) following the explosion has lead many to believe that the main target of the bomb was the super computer.
Assasination attempt
And some Chinese language media have also reported that the main target was not the computer or anything, but the President himself who was to travel through the area with top officials after a secret meeting.
The report cited an insider revealing to NTDTV.com: 'The original plan was to wait until the Chinese communist meeting in Beidaihe to finish so when the high ranking officials returned, there will be an explosion on the railway between Tianjin and Heibei.'
As the officials changed their plans at the last minute, the killers instead decided to bomb the warehouse to get rid of any evidence, it said.
With so many specialsits who know so much by just sitting in front of their desktops, who needs an investigation?
