Lava launches Iris Atom 2 smartphone for Rs 4,949

The smartphone’s primary camera features Largan lens and LED flash

On August 18, Lava launched another smartphone to add to its Iris series of devices. The new Lava Iris Atom 2 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854x480 pixels.

Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the Atom 2 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It features a 5MP primary camera with Largan lens and LED flash, and 0.3MP VGA front facing camera.

On the connectivity front, the Lava Iris Atom 2 offers Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, GPS, and Bluetooth options. It is fuelled by a 1750mAh Li-ion battery.

The Lava Iris Atom 2 is priced at Rs 4,949, and is available in black and white color variants.
