Infant girl kidnapped from Gandhi Hospital
The child is the daughter of Renuka and Ramesh, residents of Medak district
Hyderabad: A nine-month-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by a woman from Gandhi Hospital on Friday night.
The child is the daughter of Renuka and Ramesh, residents of Medak district. They had come to the hospital on Friday morning to get treated for thyroid problems.
Police said the victim Renuka and her nine-month-old daughter Kavya came to Gandhi Hospital along with Renuka’s father Mallesh and mother-in-law Siddamma.
As they could not afford to go back they decided to stay in the visitor’s shed at Gandhi Hospital. An unknown woman, approached Renuka and started a conversation with her.
“She asked Renuka about her details. When Renuka woke up at around 1.30 am she found the baby missing. She searched for the baby with her family and later found the unknown woman also missing,” said Chilkalguda inspector K. Srinivasulu.
