It's time to 'save CSK'

Mumbai: The Lodha committee verdict suspended Indian Premier League franchisees Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings for two years after it was proved that their officials were involved in spot-fixing activities.

Although the RM Lodha panel’s suggestion was out on July 14, it is reported that the committee will take at least five months to file the report.
 
While the Indian cricket board has formed a four-member Working Group to decide the future of both the teams, there is no official decision made by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

Meanwhile on Thursday, the official Facebook page of two-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings shared an invitation by ‘superfans’ who are planning ‘to paint the city yellow’ with a hashtag ‘savecsk’.

The event is scheduled to take place on August 1 at 10.30 a.m. and the fans are asked to gather near Pattabiraman Gate of MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wallajah Road.
