New Android Lollipop flip phone unveiled

While Samsung is still in talks with manufacturing units in order to roll out a new a flip phone, LG has moved ahead and unveiled the first clamshell that runs on Android Lollipop operating system. Featuring a 3.2-inch (480 × 320 pixels) LCD screen, LG Gentle handset’s exterior comes with stylish faux leather. LG Gentle flip handset is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core processor.

LG claims that its new Gentle flip phone offers 1GB of RAM and 4GB of expandable storage. Additionally, it also sports a 3MP main camera and a VGA secondary camera and is fuelled by a 1,700mAh battery.

The LG Gentle flip smartphone will only be available in South Korea during its initial stages, priced at KRW 200,000 (approximate price: Rs 10,890).
