New Delhi: Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi is among four people against whom the government did not file an appeal against the orders of lower courts for issue of passports.

Others included Prashant Ahluwalia and Anand Jayaswal, both accused in the coal block allocation case filed by CBI, in which passport authorities concerned did not file appeals, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj said while replying to a written question in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.

The passport of Mr Modi, against whom a complaint under the Fema Act was filed by the Enforcement Directorate, was restored on the direction of the Delhi high court in August last year.
