Video shows how burgers made out of the insects are giving beef a run for its money

London: There’s a new burger which is being touted as nutritious, however, there’s just one issue. It’s made out of 500,000 flies!
Though it may not sound delicious, a video showing how the burgers are made out of the insects is making hamburgers sweat, the Daily Star reported.
Africa’s Lake Victoria is plagued with uncountable midges, which are now serving as an unlikely source of fast food for locals, who catch the flies in wet pots and mash them together to make protein-packed patties.
They are then cooked like normal beef burgers, but are said to be up to seven times more nutritious. However, a Reddit user who tried the burgers in Mozambique said that they were pretty much tasteless.
