Shankar lauds Baahubali
Filmmaker called the movies as Poetic imagination! strong characterisations! super heroism
With a lot of celebrities heaping praise on the recently-released Baahubali, filmmaker Shankar, was the latest to have described the film as truly epic. “Poetic imagination! strong characterisations! super heroism! executed with stunning visuals! wow! cheers to Rajamouli and team (sic)” Shankar posted on Twitter.
Baahubali director SS Rajamouli seems to be overjoyed with the response he has been getting for his film. “A big thank you to all my Twitter friends for your great patronage. To be very frank, I neither expected this big a support nor the initial backlash (sic),” Rajamouli posted on his Twitter page. He added, “The appreciation is pouring in from all quarters and corners of the globe.
A lot of celebrities had very good words to say about Baahubali. Need to go back and thank them all behalf of my team.” Said to be made on a whopping budget of Rs 250 crore, the film has already said to have grossed approximately Rs180 crore as on Monday. Released on July 10 in four languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi simultaneously, the film has surprisingly performed extremely well in all the languages.
