Meena all praise for Kamal Haasan and Gautami

We all know that Papanasam is the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit Drishyam which featured Mohanlal and Meena in the lead. It was remade in Telugu with Venkatesh reprising Mohanlal’s role, and Meena was lucky enough to bag the female lead in the movie as well.
Recently, there was a special screening of Papanasam for celebrities where Meena was also invited. The actress, who has shared the screen with Kamal Haasan in films like Avvai Shanmugi, was in awe of Ulaganayagan’s performance and also had words of appreciation for Gautami who has made a comeback after a long hiatus.
After watching the film Meena said, “Kamal sir has brought a new colour to the film with his inimitable style. Gautami has done full justice to her role and has adapted her perfomance to suit the local flavor. The way Kamal, Gautami, Niveda Thomas and Esther Anil spoke the Tirunelveli dialect and the chemistry between them, gave the impression that they are a real family. I am sure the movie will have a big impact in the Tamil industry.”
Meanwhile, seeing the overwhelming response for Papanasam and realising the need to connect with her fans, Gautami has joined Twitter.
