Meerut hospital staff caught selling organs of human body to tantriks for black magic

The organs ranging from rupees 2,000 to 20,000 were allegedly sold to a black magic practitioner

Meerut: In a horrifying incident, a lawyer in a sting operation caught hospital staff smuggling human organs in postmortem house of Lala Rajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in Meerut. 
 
The organs ranging from rupees 2,000 to 20,000 were allegedly sold to a black magic practitioner. Postmortem of many dead bodies are done every day in the postmortem house and the organs removed from these bodies are being stolen openly. The smuggling is allegedly done with the help of the doctors. 
 
"This practice has been going on for years and is not a new one... we recieved information and had conducted a sting operation... The main organ that is taken away is the liver," said thelawyer who was responsible for the sting operation. 
 
The DM of the concerned hospital maintained that the matter was of great concern and that a probe was initiated into the matter.
