New Delhi: Controversial former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi has managed to hit the headlines with his continuous ‘revelations’ on Twitter. In a fresh tweet, Modi has alleged that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was a ‘beneficiary of his hospitality’ during his tenure.

Modi tweeted a photograph with the caption ‘That awkward moment’, seen in which are Rahul Gandhi, Robert Vadra, Deepika Paduone, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri. In the picture Modi and Gandhi are seen talking on their mobiles.

In another tweet, Modi asked Gandhi and Vadra to counter his ‘hospitality’ claim.

The Congress, however, has denied such claims and said all such allegations are baseless.

Modi has been tweeting about his relationship with politicians from across the country. His tweets have led to a major controversy, forcing politicians Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje to explain their association with the controversial businessman.

Swaraj was in the line of fire after reports came out that she helped Modi procure UK travel papers. Later, she clarified on Twitter that she did it because of ‘humanitarian’ concerns as he had to travel out of UK for his wife’s treatment.

Meanwhile, Raje received the Opposition’s wrath after she admitted to having signed documents to help Modi get UK stay permit in 2011. Raje was the leader of Opposition in the Rajasthan state assembly at that time.
