For those eager to watch this episode, it airs on television on July 4 at 8.30 pm.
At the end of the show, all the young participants were called on stage for a customary selfie.
Vishal Dadlani, Salim and Sonakshi also joined him on stage to add to the backup vocals.
Salman Khan has lent his vocals to movie soundtracks, but this will most likely be the first time that he performed live for such a big audience.
Adnan Sami, who also sang a song for the film, also accompanied the star. The singer recently revealed that he only agreed to appear in the film because he couldn't refuse Salman's request.
Once the actor hit the stage, there was no getting him off. He not only danced, but according to reports also sang 'Selfie le le re' from his upcoming flick.
Salman also hugged each of the contestants after their impressive performances.
From taking selfies to singing with contestants, pulling pranks on Sonakshi to even performing an impromptu dance, the 'Dabangg' star enthralled everyone in the audience.
The actor, who has always had a special place in his heart for children, was overjoyed to receive a turban from his little fan.
Salman Khan will be seen playing 'protector' and 'big brother' to a little Pakistani girl who gets left behind on Indian soil in his film.
Salman also played judge for the evening as he took a seat beside Sonakshi, Salim Merchant, Vishal Dadlani and singer Adnan Sami. Before the got stared, Salman busied himself by doodling on a piece of paper.
The actor, who is shooting for his next romantic drama 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', dropped by the sets of the television show to pay his good friend Sonakshi Sinha a visit.
