Electrocuted youth dies in Hyderabad
Youth had arrived at Rajahmundry on June 23 by a train to attend the marriage

Rajahmundry: After battling for life for eight days, B. Tech student Kanumuri Sai Santosh Varma, 19, succumbed to burns while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad in the early hours on Tuesday. Sai Santosh, a student of Gitam University in Visakhapatnam, had arrived at Rajahmundry on June 23 by a train to attend the marriage of a common friend at Nidadavole in West Godavari.
Before leaving for Nidadavole, he had climbed atop a railway engine parked at the railway yard and was taking a selfie on his mobile phone when he suffered an electric shock from the overhead 25,000KV power line.
