Mumbai: If the censor problems before the release of ‘NH10’ was not enough for Anushka Sharma starrer ‘NH10’, the team has now landed in fresh controversy thanks to CBFC head Pahlaj Nihalani. Apparantely he is fuming over prints of Bollywood movies that are being sent overseas which doesn't have the correct censor certificates. Being more specific, he was informed about Anushka Sharma's NH 10 which reportedly didn't follow the necessary guidelines.

Here's what happened.

According to a report in 9xe, Pahlaj Nihalani found out that many Bollywood films were being sent to other countries without a censor certificate. This did not go well with him and he immediately got his team to get more concrete answers. In few days he got a copy of a censor certificate of another country which had specified the same cuts that he himself had suggested. All good so far. ButlLater, he found out that the copy of the film that was sent from India was an 'uncertified' copy.

He tried to contact the producers of ‘NH10’ many times, (Anushka Sharma, Phantom and Eros) but got no response from any of them. But very soon things were going to change. The makers now need a certificate to show it on National TV. Pahlaj has decided to issue them a certificate only if they give in writing that they won't do anything like this again.

May be they should have lend their ear to what Pahlaj was trying to address in his earlier communication. Will Anushka, Phantom and Eros International give in? Let's wait and watch.
