Watch: Priyanka Chopra kicks butt in this video from ‘Gangaajal 2’ sets

Mumbai: Beware bad guys, Priyanka Chopra is the angry new cop in the neighbourhood. The Bollywood star is currently shooting for Prakash Jha's 'Gangaajal 2' in Bhopal. A video of the actress taking her police duties seriously and beating up a goon has made its way online. 

 

In the film Priyanka will be seen taking on the role of a female cop Abha Mathur, in the action flick. She will star as Ajay Devgn’s counterpart in the second instalment of 2003 hit movie ‘Gangaajal’. While ‘Gangaajal’ revolved around a story of an senior police, who was transferred to an area in Bihar to fight against corruption, this second film will also have a similar undertone with Priyanka taking on some powerful and influential men in her district.

 

In the video of the film's shooting, Priyanka can be seen beating a man with her police baton, while in her khaki uniform.

In a previous interview the director was quoted as saying, “'Gangaajal 2' is about today's dictum of society-police relationship. ‘Gangaajal’ was more from the heart. This one has all the bizarre things happening around us in reality. The film is not made on a big scale and also has very less characters. It is a concentrated story."
