Baba Seghal plays a cop in Gautham’s film

Actor will be seen with Simbu in upcoming film Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada

Bollywood singer Baba Sehgal crooned his first K’town song a few years  ago. Since then has also lent his voice for peppy numbers in Tamil. He is now all set to don the greasepaint for a Tamil film, marking his first attempt in Kollywood.

He will be seen with Simbu, essaying the role of a cop in Gautham Menon’s upcoming film Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (AYM). He will be seen reprising his role in its Telugu version as well which has Naga Chaitanya in the lead. Interestingly, he will be seen playing a baddie in both versions.

An excited Baba made this announcement on his microblogging site. He tweeted, “Now playing the main bad cop in my friend Gautham Menon’s new bilingual film with Simbu & Naga Chaitanya. Cheers (sic).”The movie however isn’t his first attempt in the south. He playeds role in the Telugu period flick Rudramadevi starring Anushka in the lead.
