Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and his ‘Dilwale’ director Rohit Shetty met up with the Minister of Tourisn Nikolina Angelkova, in Bulgaria on Wednesday. A picture of the two with the minister was uploaded online and was doing the rounds on several social networking sites.

Nikolina approached SRK, who is currently in the country shooting for ‘Dilwale’ with Kajol, in Sofia. If word doing the round is true, Shah Rukh could be the second Bollywood star to be promoting the country.
Ajay Devgn, who was scouting the globe for places to shoot his film ‘Shivaay’, was the first Bollywood star to be asked to star in a commercial, to promote Bulgarian tourism.

According to the Tourism Bulgaria in India Facebook page, expect to see over 50,000 Indian tourists in the year ahead, all thanks to Bollywood’s sudden interest in capturing the country’s scenic landscape in their films.

Recent reports even suggest that Shah Rukh and Kajol might just re-create their ‘DDLJ’ train scene, but this time around, it will be on a tram over the famous Lion’s Bridge. If this scene were to really feature in the movie, we can expect to see many love-struck couples, with huge wallets heading over to the country to re-enact the scene.

Shah Rukh may not yet be appointed as the ambassador for the tourism campaign, but he has already started promoting the city through his tweets.

Varun Dhawa, Kriti Sanon and Remo D’Souza will soon be joining the team and will begin shooting in a day.
