Here’s some good news for Windows Phone users!

The wait is over! WhatsApp has finally launched the voice-calling feature for all Windows Phones. To avail this feature, you no more need to be a member of Windows Beta Program.

The Windows WhatsApp page mentions – ‘Call your friends and family using WhatsApp for free, even if they’re in another country. WhatsApp calls use your phone’s Internet connection rather than your cellular plan’s voice minutes. Available on Windows Phone 8+’ This sends out an official confirmation to Windows Phone users about the arrival of its new ‘voice calling’ feature.

You just need to upgrade your WhatsApp to the 2.12.60.0 version, which has been specially released for Windows Phones. The latest multimedia update for Windows also saves the MP3 files in the 'Pictures' folder, instead of saving in another folder.
