Nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson names Chandrababu Naidu in statement

Hyderabad: Nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson, complainant in the ‘cash-for-vote’ scam, in his statement has named AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu several times.

He said that both TD legislator A. Revanth Reddy and his aide, Bishop Harry Sebastian, said that they were sent by Mr Naidu.

The statement under CrPC Section 164 was recorded with the additional chief metropolitan magistrate’s court.

Mr Stephenson stated that Mr Naidu called him and assured him of all help if he votes for the TD nominee in the MLC elections.
