Hyderabad: The bonhomie between the Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan and AP government appears to have touched a new low as AP is now casting aspersions on the former’s functioning and called him biased.

Attacking him in the strongest possible words, minister for labour and sports,  K. Achhennaidu said “The Governor is acting like a gangireddu (a bull that is dressed, decorated with bells and taught to dance during festive seasons) and nodding his head for what all the Telangana CM says.”

The minister along with four of his colleagues briefed the media after a six-hour cabinet meeting which discussed the latest political developments, especially in the backdrop of Telangana government’s moves over issuing notices to AP CM.

“As the common Governor of both the states, he has full powers under the AP Reorganisation Act and Section 8 mandates him to punish those who have committed a mistake. But he is not doing that,” the minsiter said.
