Andhra Pradesh: 16-year-old dies fleeing honeybees

The injured have been shifted to the local government hospital for treatment

The seriously injured Madhava Rao escaped from the honey bee attack, and jumped into the tank and died.
ONGOLEUnable to bear an attack by honey bees a 16-year-old boy jumped into a canal to save himself and drowned at Nemaligundla Ranganayaka Swamy temple in Racherla mandal  of  Prakasam district on Saturday.
 
According to sub-inspector K. Madhava Rao, the deceased Thota Kiran Kumar came to his  relatives’ house to attend a marriage. He went to Ranganayaka Swamy temple. As soon as he  entered the temple premises, a swarm of honeybees attacked him and 70  other people. 
 
The seriously injured Madhava Rao escaped from the honey bee attack, and jumped  into the tank and died. The police fished out his body and sent it to the local government hospital  for post-mortem. The injured have been shifted to the local government hospital for  treatment. The police registered a case and started investigation.
