Infosys to open biggest multi-level parking
With nine levels, it is larger than that of Lulu;
Thiruvananthpuram: The Infosys campus on Technopark phase –II area would soon have one of the biggest multi-level parking facilities in the state with space to accommodate 2,300 cars 3,000 two-wheelers and 25 buses.
“The work on the parking complex is nearing completion and it would be commissioned within two months,” Infosys regional manager Abilash Kumar told DC.
The nine-level parking facility will be bigger than the parking complex at Lulu Mall in Kochi which can accommodate only around 1,000 four-wheelers and 1,250 two-wheelers at six levels.
The Infosys facility with a total area of 7.8 lakh square feet will have systems to locate free space and automated under-scanning of vehicles entering the complex.
At present, over 5,000 people are working on the campus, where the parking space is inadequate.
