Mumbai: The Indian Super League (ISL) football that won hearts in its inaugural edition bringing in former European football stars on board is going to scale new heights this season with more stars. The fixtures, going by the official Twitter handle of ISL, is going to be out on Friday.

The ISL authorities waited for the right time to announce the developments from their side, that is, right after the completion of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

IPL has been ruling the roost since seven years and it is not easy to uproot an already established dynasty but ISL did not leave any stone unturned to take the beautiful game to a different level in India. And yes, even they had a Bollywood and glamour-connect with Varun Dhawan, John Abraham – who now bought 95 per cent stake in Northeast United FC, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Abhishek Bachchan, Virat Kohli et al.

However, Sourav Ganguly co-owned Atletico De Kolkata emerged victorious in 2014.
