KT Rama Rao promises free Wi Fi for full Secunderabad city in 1 year

The Union minister said that very soon the OU campus too would be WiFi-enabled

Free net: People using the free WIFI facility that was inaugurated at the Secunderabad Railway station for half-an-hour on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: The Secunderabad Railway station, where free WiFi facility was launched on Tuesday, became the first station in South Central Railway region and the sixth in the country to offer free WiFi to passengers for half-an-hour, after Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi and Varanasi.

The WiFi facility was inaugurated by Union minister of state for labour and employment Bandaru Dattatreya and SCR general manager P.K. Srivastava.

The Union minister said that very soon the OU campus too would be WiFi-enabled, as will be 40 tourist locations.

In fact, in a year’s time the entire city would be WiFi-enabled, announced Telangana IT minister K.T. Rama Rao.
