Royal Enfield, the 1955 motorcycle manufacturing company based out of Chennai, India, and famous for the 350cc Bullet, is all out testing a new 410cc motorcycle around their factory. The bike is the next adventure motorcycle that will roll out of the Chennai factory next year.

The Himalayan is powered using a newely developed 410cc air-cooled engine and is expected to sport a chrome exhaust, dual disc brakes, rounded rearview mirrors spoked rims, step-up seats, a short rear mud guard and a few others. The bike is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.5 lakhs in the Indian market. Royal Enfield has already applied for trademark for the bike in India and Europe with the name ‘Himalayan’.

The Himalayan was also spotted on a test drive earlier last month, albeit with a different silencer. (Below: Photo Motor Vikatan)
