New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ campaign has resulted  in bigger flow of FDI in the manufacturing sector. India received around $7 billion FDI in  manufacturing sector in just five months (October to February) after the launch of ‘Make in India’.

This is 45 per cent increase in FDI in manufacturing sector over the same period in the previous year, according to a background paper of commerce and industry ministry. The overall FDI between April-February 2014-15 was $28.81 billion.
