Another Tipu’s cannon found at Metro site

Bengaluru: After a second cannon was unearthed at the Metro site near Vani Vilas Hospital in 2012 by BMRCL, Another cannon has been unearthed during construction of a  building for Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.

“During the construction of a seven-storey building which is going to be anew medical college, I was informed that workers found a cannon,” informs Dr Devadass P K, Director cum Dean of Bangalore Medical College and Res earch Institute. “It is approximately six feet huge, but I am not surprised as earlier two more cannons were found,” says Dr Devadass.  Also, the cannon was found a few metres away from the one found at metro site.
