Deepika, Irrfan continue 'Piku' promotions without Amitabh Bachchan

'Piku' is all set to hit theatres this Friday and a lot is being expected out of this slice-of-life tale.
At the recent event Deepika said that she has learnt a lot from both her leading men and that working with the two has been a 'pleasant' experience.
'Piku' explores the beautiful and chaotic relationship of a father (played by megastar Amitabh Bachchan), who deals with the problem of constipation and his workaholic daughter (Deepika), while Irrfan plays a mediator of sorts between the two.
After wrapping up a song sequence for 'Bajirao Mastani', Deepika has been out and about town and on several television shows promoting the film.
The director was certain that his cast would join him in the last week rounding up to the film's release, but Amitabh's sudden ill heath threw things off a bit.
The star cast has not been able to come together for film promotions because of other film commitments. Deepika was wrapped up shooting for 'Bajirao Mastani' and Irrfan had to visit Hollywood directors for his upcoming film 'Inferno'.
Just three days before the film releases nationwide, the director made an appearance with Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in Delhi, however, Amitabh Bachchan could not make it to the event because of his ill health.
