With many international series being remade in India, TV’s popular faces tell us which ones they would love to star in.

Ashish Sharma: I am glued to House of Cards and would love to play Kevin Spacey’s character in it. I’d also love to direct if the show is made in India.

Preetika Rao: I would like to portray Sansa Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones, played by Sophie Turner. Sansa is feminine and she strives to become like the heroines of romantic tales by attempting to find a prince, knight, or gentleman to fall in love with. Being naïve, Sansa often finds herself used as a pawn in the machinations of the other characters. Sounds like a perfect plot for Indian sensibilities and a character that is totally up my alley.

Harshad Arora: I’m hooked to Bates Motel and I would like to play Norman Bates, an extremely interesting character.

Shakti Arora: I’d love to play Joey from Friends. He is cute and has an amazing sense of humour. He makes any normal scene so hilarious that it’s very difficult not to laugh.

Jennifer Winget: There are two shows that I absolutely love and I’m hooked on to. One is Game of Thrones, in which I’d love to play Daenerys Targaryen. And the other one is Orphan Black where I would love to play the character  of Sarah Manning.

Vishal Vashishtha: My all-time favourite is Entourage though Suits and Breaking Bad are equally good. I’d love to play would be Walter White from Breaking Bad.

Sukirti Kandpal: I love watching Desperate Housewives and The Big Bang Theory. I think both can be recreated in India. I’d love to play any of the characters from Desperate Houswives.

Karanvir Bohra: I would love to play the role of Harvey Spectre from Suits.

Ravi Dubey: I love Monk. I really like the character of Monk. He is very unassuming, out of the box, a social disaster yet intelligent and is able to absorb situations, like no one else can. Also it’s an investigative drama, a genre I like. Besides Monk, I would like to play Chandler from Friends. His wit and charisma have had so much of an impact on me. And I can’t forget Sherlock. Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the finest actors, so that’s another character I’d want to play.
