Cash-rich Champions League T20 to be scrapped?

Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa are reportedly informed about the decision

Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Sunday decided to scrap the Champions League T20, according to a report.

The Indian cricket board, during their Working Committee meeting in Kolkata, came to the conclusion. BCCI officials had met the Champions League T20 Governing Council and conveyed the message to them, according a Mumbai Mirror report.

It was learnt that official broadcaster, Star Sports, is finding it to difficult to continue their association with the T20 league. The other two participating cricket boards, Cricket South Africa and Cricket Australia, were also informed of the decision.
